Japan is the country of sakè, whose fame has travelled across national boundaries over the last few years to reach us in the West. But not everybody is completely familiar with the drink or knows of the many ways of producing it, which vary from north to south, region to region, town to town. The principal ingredients of sakè, aka nihonshu, are rice, water and kobo, or yeast. In this workshop you’ll taste different types, produced according to the customs and traditions of Kōbe, capital of Hyogo Prefecture, famous for the production of yamada nishiki, considered the best rice variety for the drink.

Online ticket sales are now closed. During the days of the event (September 22-26), all remaining tickets will be available at the Event Reception on the ground floor of the Regione Piemonte building in Piazza Castello and at the reception of Eataly Torino Lingotto. Tickets for the conferences will also be available directly at the Carignano Theater.
