Let it Bee
In the striking couryard of the Palazzo del Rettorato of the University of Turin, there is a space dedicated to the world of bees and honey. Let it Bee is designed to tell the story of apiculture in a new way:
• through the experiences and testimony of beekeepers from across the globe that will show how important their work to preserve biodiversity;
• through an exhibition showcasing all the different methods of cultivation and harvesting, the forms of the honeycombs and the enormous variety of flowers used by the bees;
• by raising awareness of the danger pesticides pose, the different species of bees, traditional methods of honey production and the new frontiers of urban beekeeping.
Slow Food, Unaapi, Conapi the Honey Ambassadors will guide us through this unique occasion to taste rare honeys from all over the world.
Come and visit Let it Bee! There will also be a competition in search of the greatest Italian honeys, Three Drops of Gold, and all participants will be able to vote – after tasting the honeys, of course!
In collaboration with UNAAPI, CONAPI, Osservatorio Nazionale Mieli d’Italia, Ambasciatori dei Mieli and the support of the University of Turin and Verallia.
Take part in our tastings! Free entry while seats last.
