Slow Food on Film
Screen-saving our gastronomic heritage
The international Slow Food on Film festival is a unique showcase of shorts and documentaries about food, out of the mainstream and far removed from convention.
Slow Food on Film seeks to foster new critical awareness about food culture.
By encouraging the production and distribution of short features and documentaries, it develops the original concept of food and gastronomy as a heritage to be documented and conserved.
At the Salone, in a special screening room, visitors can see a selection of the shorts and documentaries that have competed in the festival (last held in Bologna in May) over the years, as well as films inspired by the Slow Food presidia, Terra Madre and other projects.
