Taste Workshops
The Taste Workshops are Slow Food’s now famous tasting sessions in which producers and experts talk about food and wine and the audience tastes and learns as it listens.
Subjects in this year’s calendar range from rare beers, artisan cured meats and unique spirits to Terra Madre community cheeses, chocolates and other foods besides. Slow Food has also reserved a space in Pavilion 5 to natural wine. This, the Vignerons d’Europe hall, will be devoted exclusively to tastings of wines by vine dressers who grow their grapes respecting the land and humanity.
Due novelties
A series of Workshops, devised and organized by the first graduates from the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo and Colorno. And others organized by the Wine Bank in Pollenzo expressly designed to recount the journey through time of great Italian wines.
Vini d’Italia 2009 (Italian Wines), a joint publication by Slow Food Editore and Gambero Rosso, presents this year’s Three Glass symbol winners: on Saturday October 25, from 4pm to 7.30pm, a grand tasting on the ramp that climbs to the former test track on the roof of the Lingotto building.
Simultaneous translation into Italian and English is available at every Taste Workshop.
