Master of Food
A taste for finding out more
Master of Food: a complete 24-course program of food education for adults that, over the last eight years, has allowed 48,000 Slow Food members and food and wine professionals in Italy to find out more about the world of food production. Here at the Salone del Gusto we offer visitors—Italian and foreign—a taste of the Master of Food courses, with single or double lectures on: tea, fruit and vegetables, meat, spices, spirits, coffee and much more besides. That’s not all: this year’s Salone del Gusto also presents the new Master of Food course on Daily Food with a lecture on how to read products labels and choose local, seasonal and natural foods (in collaboration with Nova Coop).
The Master of Food area—an information desk and 3 classrooms—is in Pavilion 5. At the entrance to the area, participants will be treated to aperitifs and food produced by Master of Food sponsors.
If you attend a Master of Food lecture at the Salone del Gusto, you are also entitled to a €10 discount on enrolment (by July 2009) on a Master of Food course in your convivium.
Simultaneous translation into Italian and English is available at every Taste Workshop.
